How You Can Help

Please consider donating the books you would otherwise donate elsewhere to The Little Red Wagon Library. They will be used in our mobile lending program, along with some books we are able to purchase wholesale through federally-funded programs like FirstBook. Please pm me or contact us via our FB page to arrange pick up. You can feel good knowing those books will be used by children who otherwise would not have access to them and can enjoy them.

If you are interested in volunteering for short-term commitments with our organization or sponsoring some of our volunteers or book purchases, we would love to hear from you.

Like a lot of organizations, we will be putting together backbacks for the children in daycare. This will encourage the books to go home with each child. Another important aspect of our program is parent awareness/involvement. We will provide parents with materials about how to become more involved in their children’s literacy. The engagement of a parent or other caregiver is vital to a child’s success.
